Camellia is deceptively the best companion. She is great in melee after a few levels, she has 9-level casting for buffs and healing, and her hexes are extremely useful (Protective Luck, Evil Eye). She's also great at the most important skills (Perception / Trickery). Seelah can be built as pure Paladin or Paladin/Monk.

FYI, you really do not NEED to follow build guides for companions. Many people here are power gamers who are playing on higher difficulty levels. Anyway, I don't see much reason dipping Seelah into Sohei. Monk dips are used to utilize their bonus AC from wisdom or charisma.Defender.
